Adjust your harness and brushcutter

Make sure you always use a harness when working with a brushcutter. A well-adjusted harness will distribute the weight evenly, which makes the brushcutter easier to carry, and the work lighter. This will help save your body from unnecessary strain.

Balance 35/55

Position the chest plate horizontally, on your chest.

Adjust the strap under your left arm to distribute the weight on your shoulders.

Adjust the hip pad to your preferred height, depending on the task at hand. Use your hip bone as a reference point when adjusting.

When mowing on slopes it is more comfortable if you adjust the hip pad higher.

Balance X/XT

Adjust the backplate to you body length (XT).

Connect and tighten the hip belt.

Connect hip pad to backpack battery

Locate and disconnect quick connectors from the battery backpack.

Assemble the quick connectors to hip pad strap.

Attach hip pad to backpack harness.

Attach backpack battery adapter to the brushcutter.

Adjust the harness and hip pad to your preferred height, depending on the task at hand. Use your hip bone as a reference point when adjusting hip pad.

Attach brushcutter and connect adapter cable.

Bullhorn position

Set the handles so that the angle of your elbow is at about 120° when the brushcutter is hanging freely.

Bullhorn transportation position

Pay attention to the throttle cable and throttle control when folding the handle bar.
